DATELINE: AUSTIN
I've previously mentioned that Brian Boitano is the culinary star with whom I'd most like to party, there is another guest I'd especially like to invite: Adam Richman from the fun show on the Travel Channel, Man Vs. Food.
When he first came to Austin, Adam attempted to eat seven Don Juans - the almost two pound taco loaded with potato, bacon, egg and cheese that has felled many a serious eater. While he was not successful, Adam did make it onto the "Juan of Fame," under the celebrity category.
Adam, come back to Austin and eat the fantastic, succulent, old-school, dripping-with-butter 12-oz pork chop sold only at Perry's.
This magnificent pork chop is massive - Adam would probably have to eat ten or so to break some record, as is his M.O. And if he went at lunch time on Friday's, the pork chop would only set him back $10.95! Yes, Perry's is reducing the price on their classic dish - on Fridays, during lunch. Let the new low price be an incentive - Adam, come back to Austin! I dare you.
